Hello & Welcome
While I was engaged in 1990, I came across an article titled “shoe-box to Showcase, storybook albums recreate magic moments. Using your photos to celebrate and preserve you family memories”. I wanted to start with my wedding photos and then continue with my family photos and stories. In those days physical photos were stored in shoeboxes, closets and all over. The mission of Creative Memories was to “rescue” those photos and put them into a format that could be enjoyed. I loved the mission and got on board and become a consultant with Creative Memories. For over 20 years I loved helping others find time to create albums! I did that by offering group classes, monthly space to work on projects and staying in touch with newsletters.
A lot has changed since then but one thing that hasn’t is my belief that life is meant to be celebrated. Photos help us celebrate and remember. Good times, hard times, and everything in between. I have switched from doing paper scrapbooks, to creating digital books, and photo products for my home.
Creative Memories developed a paper product line as well as a digital line. Over the course of time the paper side was bought out and is now CM. CM offers the albums and tools I have loved for years. The digital side was also bought by Forever. Forever offers digital books, Aritsan, photo conversion and more! I am a representative for both.
I am and always have been a very simple scrapbooker. When I first started teaching others how to get their photos out of the shoebox and into an album, I was only selling 20 – 30 products. For me it has always been more about the story then the craft. However, there is room for any level of design!
